Glad to see there are still F4 Crew Dawgs out there. I've passed over to the officer world now but will always remember where I started. I'm an F4 Crew Chief to the end. Bad ass acft that you love to hate. Anyone stationed at Clark AB from 87 to 89 pass me an email.

I was WCS from 72-76 with assignments at Holloman Nov 72-Mar 73 (5 terribly long months) then I PCS'ed to Osan with a 90-day TDY to the Kun & another PCS to Clarke in Dec. 73 (no brainer) when it was the 405th. I worked in the shop on swings/mids with a 35 day TDY to CCK thrown in. Got sent to Luke in Jun 74 until Dec when I PCS'ed to Korat in Mar 75 until Dec. 75 when I got sent to Kadena after we pulled out of Thailand for my last 86 days. Came back in, in 78 at MacDill until 80 & then went to Spangdahlem from 80-82 (lots of TDYs to Zaragoza). Went to the last F-4D base in the AF at Homestead until 83 when I was forcibly cross-trained to F-15 A-shop & sent back to Luke from 83-87. After I made MSgt got sent to RAF Upper Heyford & F-111E's, where due to Rivet Workforce I couldn't get off F-111's. Went to wonderful Cannon AFB for 6 1/2 years on F-111D's (pigs) & F-111F's (sweet jets). Finished out my 26 years at Eglin back on F-15's. Retired in 2000 and doing the civil servant thing at the 20th SPCS working on a really big radar. Just started getting touch with WCS troops from the 70's.

Was a Phantom Phixer 3 nov 63 to 3 nov 67 George AFB -Ubon Thailand - Clark AB. Worked in the jet shop Phixing J79 eng , and the run up pad. The F4c was the slowest and the fastest and the Air Forces badest, at least back in the days gone by! She was sleek sexy and deadly, and when she came in for air support for the troops in the bush charlie wet his drawers !!!!

Weapons Load Crew Chief 84-87.
Well another reunion has passed and I missed it. I hope to make it one of these years. I loved my time in PACAF so much that I retired here in Korea. Working as a contractor and loving civilian life.

Looking forward to being at the reunion. Us Scientists had a great time there last year, we were out numbered by the tire kickers but all in all it was a damn good time and encourage everyone to attend no matter what career field you were. ECM shop's in the house!

Great site! Brings back memories only the P.I. could provide. 3rd CRS Avionics Branch Chief, 87-90. Greatest group of folks I've ever had the pleasure to work with. The other day while walking the ramp an F-4 flew a few approaches; what a rush!
